Ex-Unicorn Nick Diamonds somehow always manages to make good music with any partner or band he's part off.Apart from Islands, Diamonds has teamed up with Jim Guthrie creating the band Human Highway. Last years' "Moody Motorcycle" was pretty hot and well played in my playlist. Human Highway is getting ready to tour and you won't want to miss their performance if they stop by your town.TRUST! Here's the video for my favorite track of the album.

The Wrestler
For 1.00$ I saw The Wrestler at a small independent cinema called "the Rialto" in the city of Santa Rosa. I have to say, the Wrestler was worth every single cent of that dollar(not a joke). Wrestling was part of my childhood as Thursday night Smackdown and Monday night Raw were sacred nights every week. In fact, I used to be a HUGE Acolytes fan. Getting to the point, the Wrestler is must see film. One more thing, after watching this film, I learned to never become a professional wrestler!!!

The Office-Ryan Started the Fire
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhhaaaaaaahhhhaaaahhahahahahahahahahahaha
I can write so many things about this fan made video but I'm running late to class. If you're a true Office fan, you'll laugh and remember the old episodes. Hopefully there isn't any more repeats like this last Thursday >_< !

The Girl With Violent Arms
Do you like the LA band Health? Do you like the funky beats from Dan Deacon? If you answered yes to both those questions then you'll definitely like The Girl With Violent Arms. A solo project that consists of a 23 year old cancer researcher that likes to tap pedals, twist knobs, and make NOISE! Coming from the Inland Empire out of Colton, TGWVA ended up traveling to Northern California to work on his second album called "The Sun Will Swallow Me Whole" that will be released soon on the LA record label How To Be A Microwave. I got the chance to see the "the girl" play about a week ago aaaaand I liked what I heard. The set was short, but entertaining, as I watched songs get created before my eyes. Literraly, the guy would plug a microphone, make a crazy noise, record that shit, unplug the mic, and replug his base and start jamming. I highly recommend to log on to the space and check out the song---> Central Nervous System

Eastbound and Down
I haven't seen this show yet but plan to do so soon.
The plot for this television show is about a professional baseball player named Kenny Powers(Danny Mcbride) who lost everything and has moved in with his brother's family. You'll recognize the main character if you've seen the movies Pineapple Express or the Heartbreak Kid. So far, I've only this clip which has been enough for me to follow this new T.V. show on HBO.

Update: Saw the first episode and I highly reccomend it! Guaranteed to make you laugh every 30 seconds. The ending for this episode is epic.

Street Fighter 4
One for the Team-Best Supporting Actor
Hello everyone!
I've been asked by a couple of people were I have been and why I haven't been posting. Trying to get into a routine for a new semester at school can take up most of your time. It's good that my partner can take over while I'm busy and inform you on what's going in the Hip-Hop culture. Please take your time and watch the videos he posts because I myself, is also been more open minded to Hip-Hop and have found some great stuff thanks to him. I've been reviewing a lot of new music that I will post later on when I'm not busy but right now take your time to listen to a Minneapolis band called

Chairlift-Evident Utensil official video
I've posted this same song a while back and due to copyrights, I was forced to take it down. Now the official video has been let out and it's looking like a fair game now. I have to say that I wouldn't want to be under any substance watching this video. It's full of allusions and faces are born out of the shadows of pixels. If that doesn't make sense, just watch the video...

Ra Ra Riot-Can You Tell
I ran into Ra Ra Riot when they were touring with Tokyo Police Club a few years ago. Their EP was great and but their full length "The Rhumb Line" was phenomenal. They're currently on tour in the states and they'll be in San Francisco with Cut Off Your Hands. Hopefully I'll have enough flow to make out to the show and hopefully get to witness this great song live...crossing fingers*
