This movie trailer describes my life...
Finding that perfect mate really early in your life but having the curiosity to see what else is out there.

I'm Gonna Explode
Apart from X-men and the new Terminator movie that will be coming this year, I'm Gonna Explode is another film among the many that will be debuting in the year 09'. I'm really lucky there is an independent theater near the school I attend. Thanks to the Rialto theater I get the priviledge to watch movies like this. I'm Gonna Explode looks like a good one so just please watch the trailer...

Camera Obscura-French Navy
I was a little disappointed with Camera Obscura's new album My Maudlin Career. I only gave it a good listen once, but maybe a few more listens will have the album grow on me enough to catch them in Pomona, CA for summer. Currently, I'm back home for Spring break in Southern California were the weather is perfect. Haven't heard a good song like this in a while an I'm glad to be sharing with the viewers. Enjoy this song because French Navy has been on constant repeat.

Moon 2009
The last space movie I saw was Apollo 13 were Tom Hanks does a fascinating job. It's been quite a while ever since so I think I'll give this movie a shot.
PS:"Tokyo" is a must see movie. The movie, or better say movies, are too unique than anything else out right now, that a visit to an independent theater would be a good idea.

Eastbound and Down 2010
I think my biggest find this year so far would have to be the HBO tv show series called EastBound and Down. I've mentioned it before on the site so I won't go into detail about the plot. Turns out I'm going to have to wait till next year for the second season to begin. I have to confess, Kenny Powers topped the Office in my opinion. Here's Mr. Powers with a training video he and his assistant Stevie mad for uses in one of the episodes.

The Specials-A Message to You Rudy
Boy, does this song take me back to my ska days. I even remember how thrilled I was when I received a Specials t-shirt for Christmas about four or five years ago. Going way back to high school, the genre of Ska had a HUGE scene in my hometown and high-school. Every single weekend there would have to be some kind of backyard show were local ska bands would play and skank pits would form. Too bad it's still Wednesday or this would have had to be my Throwback for Thursday.
(This picture was taken in Santa Barbara when my buddies and I went to see a ska band by the name of Streetight Manifesto about 3 years ago)

Phoenix-"1901" (Alan Wilkis remix)
Waiting in my email today was a remix of "1901" created by a independent musician. I like to thank Alan Wilkis for bringing the remix to the clams and to the viewers. Reviewing the album, I would have to give Wolfdgang Amadeus a 7/10 fingers rating.

Pepsi Smash Mic Pass (Feat. Pac Div, The Knux, B.O.B aka Bobby Ray, Charles Hamilton, Talib Kweli, Mistah Fab, Freeway & Blu)
This Pepsi Smash Mic Pass was sick. Mibbs from Pac Div kills it, so does Talib and Freeway and Mistah Fab putting it down like always. Charles Hamilton even gets a piece of it, as well as The Knux, B.O.B and Blu

Rudo Y Cursi
As the second man in the Spanish Club, I have to stand up for man's dignity at times. about three weeks ago, I had to speak up or the Spanish Club t-shirts were going to have Gael Garcia Bernal's face stencilled. I'm quite positive were going to watch this movie since he's starring in. I'll be honest, I'm a fan as well, but nothing close some of the girls in my Spanish Club.

the Love Language-Lalita
First, it was Noah and the Whale with their single called "Lolita".
Now, it's the Love Language with their hit single "Lalita".
Don't if every L a/0 lita song is a good as these two but the strategy seems to be working for both bands.
