The new year is fully on its way and I'm preparing to take blogging to a whole new level. This site will transform into a website ending in ".com". The new site will be a melting pot of music, art, film, skateboarding, ETC. Writers of all kind will be posting new material every day of the week. It's either go big for 2012 or die according to the Mayans (-_-). The website will be entertainment for anyone who dares. The new site will be launched the 1st of February. It all started five years ago on this very site from the living room of my parent's house. Technology puts weight on ya if you don't adapt. Will see what the next year bring me.

I like how the song first was all smooth and mellow while I wast trying to distinguish what U.S. State Trevor Powers has tattooed on his left arm. I think it Okla, but It might be something else. It might be something completely unrelated like an alligator swimming in a lagoon???? Regardless, of what it is, the music that comes from both hands is mystical. Trevor's explains how his music writing is influenced by the abnormal anxiety that he has prevailed in life. Youth Lagoon is currently on FAT POSSUM RECORDS and will be touring the states. The band has a scheduled date in San Fran on November 1st at the ~~"Bottom of the Hill"~~ which I might have to attend if I enjoy the rest of The Year of Hibernation.

I have been MIA for the past month or so due to school and a lack of time management. This post will simply be an update for all my clams fans.

1. Fall semester 2010 at Sonoma State has ended and now I can finally take a breather from academics. woow*.

2. I am back home in Southern California in my hometown of Fontana where I will be filming for the skateboarding video called "BacksideTales" that will be released next year.

3. Currently sick but my mom's Mexican remedies will have me back on my feet in no time.

Crazy night!

Friday was so dope in P-Town as eight bands took the glass stage for only ten dollars! Now that's a deal with toady's economy! The only downside was the low batteries I had on my camera which died throughout the night which explains the low quality pictures.

We entered the venue right on time to hear Abe Vigoda's new jams from their new album "Crush" coming out in September. I like Ave Vigoda. Their music is unique with catchy guitar riffs that will unexpectedly give you a stiff boner. Abe Vigoda has been playing around the I.E./LA area for quite some time now and it doesn't seem like these guys are going to stop any time as they will tour over seas.

Wavves was everything I expected. Nathan and his crew played a various songs from Post Acid and a couple of older songs including Weed Demon. I've read that Nathan can be a scum bag at times and Barcelonians would probably agree but personally, I like the guy. During the show there was a couple of hecklers who were screaming banters and talking shit to Nathan so I decided to throw some herbalies as a welcoming treat and he seemed pretty grateful. After the show I ended up in the back alley and scored a VIP bracelet. I ended up going to the back and sharing a bowl for the soul with my weed with who else other than Wavves! The guys were pretty down to earth and Nathan wasn't a douche bag. Fucking crazy asss night.

I guess Steve and Billy had some beef to settle outside of BATB3. To be quite honest, I've never really seen Berra skate so much until just this past week. I'm quite embarrased to admit, but I just saw the The End. The Birdhouse video has gone down into skateboarding history as one of the best with parts from Reynolds, Kirchart, Willy Santos, Bucky, and the Hawk. I never realised much Berra shredded back in the day and after this match, the Berrics entrepenuer is still shredding after multiple ankle injurys. The guy began Audio's shoes for god sake! You can find Hello Seahorse! on Magic Marker Records with bands like Voxtrot,Boat, and Tullycraft also on the roster. Start counting your pesos because their EP will be coming out on November 11th!

Hello Seahorse will be playing at the Glasshouse in Pomona on August 7th and I will be there as a journalist taking pictures and footage to make this blog continue...

Individuals like this make me keep on going. My knee injury has really changed my life both pshycally and mentally. I will never be able to fully extend my left leg as cartlidge is trapped in my knee joint. There is pain every morning I wake up and a nerve knot seems to take over my leg making it feel asleep all the time. I've been hitting the gym 4 times a week trying to rehabilitate. Even though this is going to be long term, I can't wait to step on a board....
